Threepenny Festival

In November the Threepenny Festival in Manchester will celebrate the work of Bertolt Brecht, Hanns Eisler and Kurt Weill, whose dramatic and musical work was very influential in the C20th.

It is being organised by a collective of musicians, writers and historians who believe that their work continues to have contemporary resonances in these times of mass unemployment, welfare cutbacks, foreign wars and the growth of the far-right in parts of Europe.

The Threepenny Festival will include workshops, political cabaret, music and drama.
